MSD Ignition Boxes
MSD has long been synonymous with ignition performance, and the Ultra 6-Series boxes continue that tradition. Designed to deliver powerful spark energy and advanced tuning capability, these systems help maximize combustion efficiency and improve performance across a wide range of applications.
The MSD Ultra 6AL greatly expands on the capabilities of the 6-Series line with three rev limiters (Launch, Burnout, and Step Retard activation) and is wirelessly controlled from a smart phone via the "MSD Ultra 6AL" app. A Programmable Step Retard (up to 30 degrees) is available for: On Ramp Time, Off Delay, Off Ramp Time, Engine RPM for activation. High level of security connection from phone to Ignition box (encryption) including sequence in push button implementation. Mobile app available settings include Cylinder selection, Step retard value, Launch RPM value, Burnout RPM value, Max (Race) RPM Value, Start retard value.

MSD Ignition Coils
MSD ignition coils are engineered to deliver a stronger, more consistent spark for improved combustion, throttle response, and overall engine performance. Our famous red canister coil, a great choice with an MSD 6-series ignition. The Blaster Coil is designed to mount in most factory canister coil mounts. MSD also offers a Chrome Coil Bracket, PN 8213. It is recommended to mount the PN 8202, PN 82023, and 8223 coils in an upright position. The High Vibration Coil, PN 8222, can be mounted in any position due to its epoxy potting compound. If you are looking to upgrade your stock coil, or want to compliment the performance of your MSD Blaster Ignition, MSD 5, 6, or 7, the Blaster Coil line is the right choice. Our Blaster Coils are designed for improved spark output! Special 100:1 windings are used to provide maximum build-up of voltage. These windings are held secure and kept cool in an oil-filled metal canister.

MSD distributors are engineered to deliver precise ignition timing, reliable spark distribution, and consistent performance across a wide range of engine combinations. For value-conscious enthusiasts, the ready-to-run Street Fire HEI is a great choice. We know the importance of a centrifugal advance in a distributor so our engineers made sure that the Street Fire received an advance assembly with coated weights and welded weight pins (not just pressed in like other models). Another area that you cannot afford to scrimp on is with a distributor gear. The Street Fire is fitted with the same gear that is used on our Pro-Billet models. The metallurgy of this gear has been refined for years to perform through the harshest conditions.
