Kurt Busch take the Kobalt Tools 500!

nascar In a race that went 16 laps -- nearly 25 miles -- past its scheduled distance, after an incident earlier in Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Busch took advantage of a strong restart to grab the lead during the second attempt at a green-white-checkered and crossed the finish line .482 seconds ahead of runner-up Matt Kenseth.

 The Monster Jam is in El Paso this weekend and a few of the trucks are in our parking lot rebuilding and gearing up for the Sun Bowl show! We have the Batman truck as well as the Captain’s Curse here with Howie Dalton, John Seasock and Alex Blackwell getting them tuned up. NHRA Arizona Nationals

ArizonaNats1  Weather delays on Sunday moved racing finals onto Monday while the outcome in Pro Stock will be decided in Gainesville, Florida. The rain proved to make a tricky track surface as many Pro Stockers struggled getting down the track. On Monday afternoon, Cory McClenathan was finally able to claim the wally over Doug Kalitta who was runner-up at the season opener. In Funny car, "Fast Jack" Beckman got back in the win column when John Force shook the tires in the delayed final. For more information, be sure to visit NHRA.com

McMurray wins Daytona 500!

SprintSeries MSD sends our congratulations to Jamie McMurray on his first Daytona 500 win! McMurray drives for for Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing. MSD has worked with Jamie even during his late model stock car team in the mid ‘90s and through his time driving Craftsman Trucks as well. Jamie’s car is powered by an Earnhardt Childress Racing engine – long time partners with MSD! They used an MSD HVC Distributor and 6HVC Ignition Control!  

50th Annual NHRA Winternationals

Pomona50thLarry Dixon scored his 49th career win over Doug Kalitta in the 50th Anniversary NHRA Winternationals. In Funny car John Force, NHRA's winningest driver, showed that he's still in fighting form by winning the Funny Car final on a holeshot against Ron Capps. In Pro Stock Mike Edwards picked up where he left off last year with a dominating performance. In the final round Greg Anderson tree'd him but still wasnt enough for that Edwards power. Congratulations to all the winners!
