MSD's Race Support Semi is on the road and at the races! With a full schedule of events across the country, our new rig shows MSD's commitment to the racers and enthusiast that depend on MSD Ignition components. Not only is the trailer a rolling warehouse of MSD and Auto Meter parts, but it also serves as a state-of-the-art testing facility.

At the races and events the trailer attends there are MSD ignition specialists on hand to assist racers with troubleshooting, testing ignitions or Pro Mag magneto systems or just to answer questions. The 53-feet long trailer was delivered to MSD as a bare shell before MSD's in-house miracle team of engineers and skilled craftsman set to work. Starting from scratch was indeed a lot of work, but it allowed our team to design and build a trailer to match our exact requirements for customer support, product storage and component testing. A completely new computer system that tracks inventory and helps with quick pricing references is wired together to keep track of products.

For testing, there are two spin fixtures for magnetos and distributors with two pressurized chambers that can simulate cylinder pressures for up to eight spark plugs! Ignitions and timing controls can be run on the bench and measured for output with a variety of new scopes and test equipment.
