MSD’s Programmable 7-Series Ignition Controls are being used on all sorts of racing from drag radial cars to professional pro stock racers! Sport Compact engine builders and racers grasp new technology to its fullest and asked for a 4-cylinder version that would be capable of lighting off the fuel under insane amounts of boost pressure. The result is the most powerful programmable ignition available with 250 millijoules and 530 primary volts!
Not only does the ignition have incredible output, but it also gives tuners an endless array of ignition areas to program for performance! By using our Pro-Data+ software on your PC, you can program different rev limits, step retards, timing curves and much more. You can even record up to 20 seconds of ignition information such as rpm, retard rates, acceleration, shift points and more to help dial-in your ignition program. The ignition requires a distributor and a crank trigger (with two magnets removed).

The PN 75314 software allows easy editing of the ignition’s parameters and can be downloaded FREE here. An optional Hand Held Monitor, PN 7550, is available to program the ignition without a laptop.
