Product Spotlight: MSD E-Curve Distributors

Ecurve Do you know what your total timing is set at? One timing setting isn’t ideal for all the different conditions your engine goes through. Cranking, idle, wide-open throttle and various loads all require changes in ignition timing. To adjust for these differences, most distributors are equipped with a centrifugal advance assembly which alters the timing as conditions change. However this require different springs, weights and even stop bushings to get dialed in. MSD’s E-Curve Distributors make setting the centrifugal advance easy – and more accurate. Instead of weights and springs under the rotor of the E-Curve, you’ll find two rotary dials. These allow you to simply select different pre-programmed timing curves that fit your application. There are a variety of curves, from slow advance to quick combined with different amounts and rates of vacuum advance to choose. MSD’s E-Curve Distributors are available for Chevy, Small Block Ford and Small Block Chrysler engines. NorthwestNationalsSeattle For the first time in NHRA history, two female drivers claimed Wally trophies at the same event. Courtney Force powered her Funny Car to the winner's circle for the first time in her career taking out Cruz Pedregon in the process. Erica Enders earned her second career Pro Stock victory beating Jason Line in the final round. In Top Fuel Steve Torrence held off Shawn Langdon in the final round. Congratulations to all the winners!
