  We were testing some new goodies on our own Tech, Victor Contreras’ ’93 Cobra today. The Dart block only has 364 cubic inches, but there’s a huge Precision Turbo T88 packing the engine with air. To date, Victor’s had the car in the lower 9’s at over 150 mph. Today he rolled over 900 horsepower off the drums of our Superflow. In other words, testing went well.

Tony Schumacher successfully defended his NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals title, defeating Doug Kalitta to score a second straight Top Fuel victory at Bristol Dragway. In Funny Car action, Del Worsham won his second straight wally defeating Tony Pedregon in the process. In Pro Stock Mike Edwards won his second race of the year with a 6.633 to Greg Anderson's 6.658. Congratulations to all the NHRA Winners!

MSD's Employee Appreciation Day and Car Show was the best one yet. We had over 50 cars entered in the car show, from rat rods to blown door cars and everything in between. Thanks to all who participated and helped out with the festivities. We should have some pictures highlighting the days event very soon.
