It's still January and all we're thinking about is getting our Racing Services Semi on the road to Pomona this weekend. There was a short break, but it's been a thrash to get our rolling MSD warehouse and tech center updated and on the road for the NHRA kick-off in California on February 5th-8th.   Sammy Swindell, longtime MSD sponsored racer and MSD friend, won the prestigious 23rd Annual Lucal Oil Chili Bowl midget race in Tulsa. This is one of the biggest races of the year for midgets. This was Sammy's 5th time winning it. Get more Chili Bowl headlines here.

 Can you believe it's 2009!? It will only be a few weeks before NHRA kicks off in Pomona and the Cup cars take to the track in Daytona. Although you guys up in the midwest still have a few more months of cold and snow to deal with, but that gives you plenty of time to fiddle with your hot rods and race cars to get them dialed in before pulling them out. Remember to inspect the cap and rotor and think about a fresh set of plug wires for the new season coming up!
