Hi,
Need some help how to install the orignal VDO tach (porsche 930) on a MSD 6Btm, the 6Btm hase a white lead a magnetic Pickup and a tach output!! Do I need an tach-adapter? (8920). If possible send me diagram how to connect. Thank you Robert |

If the tach originally went to the plus of the coil you will need the 8920 regardless how you are triggering the box. If the tach went to the negative of the coil try it off of the tach output or if you are using the white wire of the box as a trigger hook it there as well. If it does not work and you are using the white wire of the box use the 8910 if you are triggering the box via the mag input then the 8920 would be used. Thanks, MSD tech4 |
