Default MSD 8 and Engine Saver

My engine rev limits aren't working......

I have the blue wire connected to ground on the engine saver box as I was wanting to use the high side limiter.....and no worky......

Can anybody provide input? Hoping the engine saver box isn't bad.....

Put a low value chip in the high side rev. limiter, such as a 3,000 rpm chip and see if it limits.

If it does not:

Use this link for the proper return procedures:

http://www.msdignition.com/RMA_step0.aspx

You can also call 915-855-7123, M F, 8am 5pm, Mountain Time and obtain that RMA number over the phone.

Cost of the repair will range between $12.00 - $37.50 plus all applicable sales tax and shipping charges.

If the unit is under one year from date of purchase, send a copy of the original sales receipt and we will repair that under warranty.

Please include a short note describing exactly what the issues are so we can narrow things down during our testing procedure.

A repair usually takes between 10-14 work day (M-F) once we receive the unit(s) in our facility.
