Digital 6 Plus & 85551 distributor

Looks like I have to send in my e-curve for repairs so I'm picking up the digital 6 plus ignition box and the 8551 distributor. I know the distributor but does anyone have any input into the box? I plan to run the 8851 till the e-curve comes back and to keep it as a spare. It's being used with a SBC, 355 with vortec heads and a ZZ4 roller cam.
