MSD Marine 8560

Hi, I have a MSD marine distributor 8560 in my new built chevy engine, Just wanted to know if I can use it with my 6al box?
It says in the instructions to use 6al 2, Is this just because it is a newer model? Or do I have to use one of these. Thankyou

even though the 6al is not U.L. approved...it can be wired to the 8560.
