Any news on software compatibility for Windows 8 for MSD Software?

A programmer friend of mine says that If pro data works on 7 it will work on 8

All kidding aside, you might make note of this deal for the guys out there buying laptops. Although I haven't tried it, it sounds to me like the new Surface tablets/laptops or similar that run the Windows 8 RT version probably are not capable of running MSD software.

You would need to get a Full Windows 8 version (not RT) and run it in Desktop mode I would assume to make it work. That said I'm waiting to update the race car's laptop until you guys test this...
