total loss on polaris octane spark once

i have just fitted pn-00-00-2530
the ski will either start and run fine, or not run but spark once and not again until you turn the ignition off and back on, then it will either start or do the same thing. i have only just fitted the msd (not been in the water yet) after after sparking once, the red led on msd will flash
rapidly whilst you crank it. i have tried 2 different battery's (both new)

worked out the problem
i swapped the cdi box over with one that i have for a limeted ski(that runs fine)
and fixed
so out of the box the msd cdi is faulty strange hay
