As title. I'm sure I read somewhere it is, but cannot find anything on this website. I'm planning on mounting the ignition box in the engine bay of a small jet boat and there's usually a fair bit of water sloshing around in there so wasn't sure if the occasional splash would damage the ignition.

Hello,
The 42351 is waterproof as long as the backing plate is installed with the foam pads located over the dip switches. If the switches are exposed to water or moisture in some way they will cause damage to the ignition. Thanks Bret- MSD Powersports Tech |
