Hi!
I have just purchased a MSD 6AL box that I shall mount in my old Beetle.
I run with Pertronix flame thrower coil, I couldn't find it in the coil
compatibility list, so I asked "MSD" if it is it OK to use?
the answer was that as long as the primary resistance from the plus and minus of the coil is under 1.5 ohms it will work great.
My coil is 3ohm, what do I do? Do I have to bye a new one or can I fix it some way?

with best regards
Rickard

Unfortunately if your coil has an excessive amount of resistance it cannot be fixed and must be replaced with a lower resistance coil.
