A customer has acquired a Street Only car that has an MSD 7AL3 and 8550 distributor .
The distributor has no advance and does not appear to have any way to have advance. Running around with locked timing , to me makes zero sense on a street driven car. Is there a suitable add on electronic control so he can have an actual curve , or do we need to ash can the 8550 for something like a 8394 or 8361 Thanks, |

well, not knowing the compress...makes me not want to run vacuum advance.
so we really need to know this , before cranking in timing. |
