I took it for a drive. The car doesn't idle as well without the msd, but it never did the cutout that it was doing before. I will try another drive tomorrow.

I took it for another drive today. On the interstate this time, and it did not cutout at all.
I guess that means the coil is ok. So I plan to wire the msd back in. Out of all the wires, I assume the 12 volt igniton hot would be the most likely to cause this? I intend to recheck all of the wires, but want to focus on the most likely. Thanks, Mike |

I wired the box back in this weekend. I went over the wires again, but the issue is back, I don't know what to check next.

I did drill a hole in a cap and adjust rotor phasing for my 6al last year, would my phasing change with the digital 6 plus? Rather than a long ground wire to battery, should I run a short wire to the heads?

Last night I used the ignition hot signal wire to signal a relay to run a wire from the battery through the relay for the signal wire. I will let you guys know if it solved it.
