Hi,
I completed installation and timing of a new engine (SBC) with a new 8362 MSD distributor. Runs great without vacuum hooked up (at WOT), now looking at fine tuning the vacuum advance setup which is non-adjustable but has a stop plate. Can someone provide me the specifics on this vacuum advance can please; such as, at what hg does it kick on and how many degrees does it add then and so on all the way until the maximum HG/Degrees it will provide. I'm using ported vacuum off of the carburator. Thank You Gary Last edited by ggevaert; 09-08-2012 at 12:08 PM. |

I have the plate already thanks. I just want to know at what hg the can kicks in and how many degrees it starts adding at that initial hg.
My engine runs 18 hg maximum at cruising speed so I also need to know at what hg it is all-in and what that number would be (I'll be using a stop plate to limit it but would still like to know the max). Thanks Gary |
