We running an 7AL box with a HVC II coil stock Ford distributor and an MSD crank trigger. The distributor cap contacts are brass(msd cap) but after a few passes the contacts turn black inside the cap like they burnt...any ideas?

We was wondering if possibly the coil may be bad 1 way or another since thats the only current going thru the cap. |
