8381 msd opti for 92-94 and 92 corvettes

if you have 92 vette you have to solder the wires together; the harness is different for 92 only
you connect as follows
gm msd
a 1
b 2
c 3
d 4
the fifth wire used only in 92 is just a ground for shielded cable
this is the info that msd gave me and it works

thought i'd post this for anyone else with 92 vette
car is back together and so far runs well
hope the msd opti lasts longer than the oem stuff

The harness is 4 wire on the opti end and 5 on the other... in a 6 way plug...

the breakdown is...

a-----blk/red 1—brown/yellow----low res

b-----ppl/white 2---brown/orange-----hi res

c------yellow 3---red -----------------12 volts

d------blk/pink 4----red/green—------ground



The 5 wires are the same A,B,C,D ... E is empty and F is a sheilded ground........ Im sending you a pic of the schematic and the harness...
