RPM Slew function question

I installed my new 7531 today. The RPM Slew has some default settings. Where do the settings need to be if I want to disable this function and not use it? Do I just set all 6 at say 8000 or just leave the default settings like they are? The instructions for this box are a little vague on a lot of the functions.

Also are the default settings for the Margin function okay where they are at?

The slew is disabled by default. You can verify this through the data editor.

when it says slew off does that cut off all gear retard curves and all off
