I have an 84 mustang with a 6al and blaster coil with power tower and msd billet distributor . The coil is making a continuos spark . Like turn the key on and nothing but as soon as u touch the starter to crank it the coil fires continuosly until u turn the key off .

Try disconnecting your distributor pickup lead to see if you now have no spark.

We disconnected the distributor all together and did the jumper wire test accross the 2 and as soon as we did same result constant spark from the coil . Like it looks like a tig welder spark coming out of the coil .
