so, you will have to either modify the tach or look at some of the aftermarket gauge guys...autometer and dakota digital.

I have already built an Interface box to convert the EDIS outputs to be compatible with the LS2 coils. I am going to try to generate a suitable signal for a 4 cylinder tach. There shouldn't be any dwell overlap at reasonable RPM, if I combine 2 cylinder pulses to make a 4 cylinder tach signal.

I have successfully buit a circuit that supplies a tach signal from a multi-coil ignition to an 8 cylinder Tach. I use it with a Ford EDIS-8 Ignition Controller and 8 GM LS-2 Coils.
