Default 6010 box

on my car i have the 6al box, two step, rpm activated switch. installing a ls3 motor in with the 6010 box, the blue wire for the two step would i hook it up to my two step i already have in the car and how....

Can't answer your question, but I have a concern on your 6010 box. The LS3 should have a 58x reluctor which requires a 6012 box. You might want to check into that further...

yeah but what Russ is reffering to is the reluctor ring that is installed on the crank, LS3 engines come with a 58X wheel on the crank from the factory. unless you have changed out the crank and had a 24X wheel installed on it then the 6010 will work.

if not then what will be required is a 6012 box and a 4x wheel on the cam for that motor..

418 stroker with the 24x crank and the 1x cam timing gear....

no you will need to use the 2 step from the LS box if you need another 2 step then you will need to install 8733 LS-2 Step Launch control.
