cam sensor question for the 6010

I have the 6010 box with a 5.3 the question i have is.

Will the 6010 read the cam sensor the same weather the sensor is a rear mount as in the Ls1 or in the front timing cover as in the Ls2? or they read different?

the reason I ask is cause I am using a ls9 cam with the cam trigger on the front gear in my Ls1 block

you will first need to extend the harness or purchase on from www.eficonnection.com pn 100-00562

if you make your own extension you will need to swap the 2 outside wires going into the cam sensor.

you will also need to install a 1K 1/2 watt resistor across those outside wires for both set ups..

Hijacking here for future reference. Can you supply a wiring diagram for these resistors? I'm gonna do this soon (L-92 block, 24T reluctor, and LS-2 front cover with cam sensor wiring harness). I'm not understanding where the resistors go, in series or parallel...

Across means in parallel.

you need to "bridge" the 2 outside wires..

you will need a 1K 1/2 watt resistor across the 2 outside wires, this of course after you swap the 2 outside wires.
