Default Msd-8514

HI, Need a cam sync sensor for my EFI that im fitting to my 388SBC.

I need p/n 8514, but seams that this part is no longer made??? Is this true and why?? Do you do something else??

The 8514 has in fact been discontinued due to lack of sales that particular unit supported.

That's a dam shame!!

I'm going to use coil packs without a dissy, so that's not really any use to me,but thanks anyway.

Guess i'll have to run grouped injection instead.

Any chance there's any of these unit laying around still, even though they have been discontinued, or you know of where I might be able to get one because I need one too.

That's too bad, if by chance I am able to find a used one, is the actually cam sensor itself a commercially available unit. like a cam sensor off a specific vehicle? any specific manufacturer/part number available for it?

Unfortunately, that sensor pickup was a piece engineered and built by us.
