Any opinion on what coil I should get ?
i have 1993 porsche 968 non turbo 6spd and 7800rpm

Are you looking to replace the stock coil only or are you planning on using that coil in conjunction with an MSD Ignition unit?

After researching more you would use either a Blaster II coil PN 8202 or Blaster SS PN 8207. The Blaster II coil is closer to your original.

Either coil will work with an MSD Ignition if you choose.

Then either coil will work fine, the choice is yours. No ballast resistor is required.
