Good luck with your project, and please post how you go with it. I'm very interested on that information.
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I also have a GU TB45, and I'm looking to install the MSD 6Off-road.
Two questions for Msdtech22:
1. Is the same instalation procedure described on your post applicable for that model (Off-road)?
2. About the coil wiring, in the worse case scenario, is it possible to substitute the stock distributor for an MSD? If so, which would you recomend?

1. Is the same instalation procedure described on your post applicable for that model (Off-road)? Yes, they wire the same way.


2. About the coil wiring, in the worse case scenario, is it possible to substitute the stock distributor for an MSD? If so, which would you recomend? A stock distributor will work fine.
That choice would be up to you.
