Default MSD 8224 and MSD 8870

basically i ve got a 1990 corrado with a 1.8t motor in it. Wanna run these coil packs and needed some help with the wiring.

Here is the link to the engine managements wiring diagram:
http://haltech.com/downloads/e6x_wiring_diagram.pdf

Also keep in mind 2 things:

1. the haltech isnt capable of driving the coils directly, i ve got to use a bosch 2ch ignition module.

2. using a flat 4 cylinder with firing order (1-3-4-2), the cylinder pairs
can be determined by separating the firing order in half, ie (1-3) & (4-2). The first coil pair would be the first cylinder out of each group, ie (1 & 4) with the next cylinder pair being the second of each group, ie (3 & 2) etc. This method will work with all even fire, even number of cylinder engines.

You can add PN 6302 in between your haltech and PN 8224 coils. PN 6302 will take your low voltage trigger and drive a coil without any issues.

The 8870 is designed to allow an MSD DIS Ignition Control box to be wired in between the 8224 coil and GM module.

You really do not need the interface for this set-up but you can use them as a connector/base for the 8224 coil.

I use haltech E6K ,too.

I has the 6302.

Can you tell me how setup the parameter for MSD-6302.

Is it falling or rising trigger the ignitor ?

How many duty cycle for the 6302 is correct?

Thanks

Answered in post under 'troubleshooting'.

Please DO NOT double posts as this wastes valuable time answering redundant questions.
