Question 67 tiumph bonneville

I have a 1967 Triumph Bonneville, it was TT racer at one time. I have restored it with the exception of the ignition system. It had an et ignition with a 5 wire stator. It was set up for street use with lights that ran off of the stator. My question is will the msd 3 work on this bike?

The MC3 ignition will accept a points or Hall Effect signal but needs a 12 volt battery in order for the system to operate. If you’re original ignition system used points and you have a 12 volt battery supply you should have no problems. If the original ignition used a mag pick we have our universal single cylinder ignition that will accept a mag signal. You would need to run two ignition one for each cylinder. If you have anymore questions please email or you can give me a call.
