Msd Soft Touch Rev Controler

Hi there,

I need some advise on connecting a MSD Soft Touch Rev control unit part 8728
while the original instructions are gone.
There are four wires : green, red, black and white.
Any idea as to where these wires must be connected ?

I am trying to install the rev control to a V8 engine with conventional
Mallory distributor and Luminition (photo cell) ignition/coil.
Do I connect this unit to the distributer or the coil ?

Thanks MSD Tech4, your fax is well received !
Will start the connection acc fig 3 while my distributor is with optical trigger
so the white/green wires will be connected to neg (-) on the coil.

On the last page the RPM module kits and RPM module selector kits
are mentioned. Can I use the RPM module selector PN8671 on this unit ?

Yes you sure can. Any of the RPM selector switches will be fine.
