7010 Stacker Into Subaru

Greetings;

I have a 99 Forester GT EJ20t equipped with factory dfi. I am interested in using the stacker ignition and I imagine the 7010 Stacker would fit the bill. I have used a 6 series ignition and MSD distributor in conjunction with Haltech Management on an injected 383 SBC for many years and want to use the product with the Subaru. What I would like to know is if the 7010 system is compatable with the stock dfi coil pack, if not, what coil pack is required. I would also really like some of that great MSD style installation instruction that I have gotten used to, i.e. 'Black wire from dist to MSD white'. I am unable to find anyone who has actually used the 7010 in a Subaru turbo.

The factory coil may have a built in transitor or diode that may damage the coil, if this is the case then the Stacker will not be able to be used on your application.

Thanks for that. What MSD coil pack would be recommended for use with a 7010 in a Subaru 4 cyl dfi application.
