Can you advise me on running the
OMC 75hp triples [49ci] on a 12v total loss system,
ie; with out a flywheel?
Is there a 12v multi-channel[3] box, designed for a
distributorless ignition, suitable to replace the
OMC OEM power pac with?? I wish to retain the OEM
triggers which are energised by a rotating magnet.
The stock coils could be used also.
Would the PN3000 2036 be suitable?
20-30 degrees of retard for starting would be use ful.

The 30-00-2036 total loss kit comes complete with CDI, Three Single tower coils, Three trigger pick-ups and 8.5mm spark plug wires. This unit will give you the timing adjustment you are asking for but will not be able to trigger off your stock flywheel or stock pick up. The kit comes with three pick ups to trigger the system. Here is a web site of a company that is using this kit on thier outboard engines. www.madefi.com This will give you an example of how they trigger the unit.
