hi
i have just purchased Programmable Midget 2 Channel Ignition 6214 for my midget, and i would like some basic maps to look at to get a 'feel' for the programming, as i have never done it before.
any maps would be of great help

We really do not have any maps already done. What are you looking for? I can make up some basic graphs and send them to you so you can see them. let me know.

You will find that the maps are highly camshaft dependant. I set up two SB2 Gaerte/Rodeck engines this week for leading Sydney (Australia) competitors.
Whilst the engines were identical, one used a Gaerte camshaft, and the other used a Smith and Woods developed camshaft. The two timing graphs were entirely different.

If you are working with an engine builder/tuner or if your engine has been run on a dyno, I would suggest contacting them for a suggested timing map for your engine.
