94 Jeep Grand Cherokee . . . Full System

Hi,

I'm putting together an ignition system for my 94 grand cherokee/ 5.2L V8. The ignition is stock right now. I am going to use an MSD 6A (6200),

What I dont get is the coil, or the wiring harness.

my coil looks like the HEI coil. I do have round prongs inside the stock coil connector. Is the 8228 the one I want? (higher performance than the hei?)

and Im just totally confused about the harness after reading the post about the 93 grand cherokee:

Which one do I use if I go with the 6A module and the 8228 coil? if the 8228 is the wrong one, then what should my setup be?

6A module - 8873 harness - 8228 coil

The numbers listed will be fine. The 8873 is a universal harness that you install in your factory harness (cut and solder or crimp). Once this harness is installed the installation is very simple from this point. If for any reason you had to bypass the ignition box you simply unplug the harness plug the 8873 into itself and your off and running on the stock ignition.
