Sir,

The 7531 does produce more energy then the 7AL-3.

Thanks,

is there a difference of spark duration over degrees of crank rotation between the two units? Thanks!

nhra185c,

No they are the same spark duration. The digital boxes multi-spark a touch more to 3300. One note, if you are racing at an NHRA sanctioned events (per your name) the 7531 is not legal for NHRA or IHRA events.

well I guess the 7531 is out...is the 7530 legal? and is it stronger box than the 7al3? what are the main differences between the 7530 and 7531?

Thanks!

nhra185c,

There is a time based rev-limiter as well as a "slew rate" limiter which is RPM per second limiter. There is a data acquisition function that will monitor RPM shift points etc. You can actually down load the software and look at it. The output on all of the digital boxes is the same. The software covers all of the programmable units so you can look at the 7530 also.

Thanks,
