I HAVE INSTALLED A MSD 6AL BOX ALONG WITH A PRO BILLET DISTRIBUTER AND BLASTER COIL ON A BUDDYS BOAT. WE REMOVED AN OLD MALLERY IGNITION. THE KILL SWITCH WAS CONNECTED ACROSS THE COIL TO GROUND IT OUT. IS THIS ACCEPTABLE WITH THE MSD SYSTEM. THE KILL SWITCH I AM TALKING ABOUT CONNECTS TO HIS LIFE VEST INCASE HE IS THROWN OUT OF THE BOAT. THANKS MITCH

If you are using the magnetic pick up you will use the white wire of the MSD Unit for a kill switch, do not connect anything to the coil other than the MSD wires. All you will need to do is to take the white wire to ground and this will kill the MSD Unit, the switch will have to be open and when activated it will close to ground.
Thanks,
