I am currently building a 351W for my mustang. I have a victor jr intake converted to EFI so I would like to keep my computer controls but run an aftermarket ignition. Can I run a crank trigger and still have the computer still control the timing? I haven't seen a part no from MSD for a 351 crank trigger system ,is it the same as the 289/302 unit? I plan on around 500hp and it will be street driven most of the time. Any help would really be appreciated.
