Msd Coil 8226

Hi:

I notice when rehooking up coil replaced that MSD is marked positive and negative. Grey plug has one red and one white wire going into coil, but before I plugged in black plug with same colored wires coming out, I noticed + - marked wires were both hot coming out of coil verses only one hot going into coil, is this normal.

I have waited to hook up coil and start to verify this or could there be something wrong in coil or is this normal.

Yes this is normal; there is only one wire that has 12 volts going in, the other 12-volt wire is going to the factory module, which turns on the module. There is a connection inside the coil that connects the 12 volts together.
