Digital 6 Problem

I am wondering if I can hook up my digital 6 in my stock 83 ford f150. I would like to do away with the duraspark ignition. I just cant afford an MSD distributor right yet. The stock distributor has three wires on it.
(orange-yellow,black-light green,purple-light blue) Any info would help.

Which Ford Dura-Spark system do you have? Is it a Dura-Spark II or a Dura-Spark III? Does your distributor have a mechanical advance assembly in it?
