View Full Version : Boots For Spark Plug Wires?

Am installing 8.8mm MSD super conductor plug wires on my Chevy 350 engine. Am going to run the wires under the ram horn exhaust manifolds. Are protective boots required on the plug wires under the manifolds or can the MSD plug wires hold up to the heat?

The MSD Boots should hold up to the heat if the engine is running the correctly. If you have experienced boot damage with previous wires, or would just like a little more protection, I would recommend switching the boots to the MSD Boot Armor Spark Plug Boots, PN 3328 - 90 Deg., PN 3329 - 135 Deg., or PN 3330 - Straight.
