View Full Version : Dual Or Standard Crimp?

I just got msd spark plug wires, part number 31359, and the instructions give the option of using either a dual crimp or standard crimp coil wire terminal(on a 77corvette with aftermarket headman headers). Does this mean that I am suppose to be supplied with both terminals for me to choose from because I only have the standard terminal in my box?

The installation instructions that are included with the wire set that you purchased is a universal installation sheet that is used in many of the MSD Spark Plug Wire sets. The PN 31359 wire set is made for GM HEI applications that have an internal coil that does not use a coil wire.

Oh yeah, duh.........I guess that shows how much I was thinking.........thanks for the heads up...............I guess what probably threw me was that there actually is a coil wire in it even though I don't need one.
