hey guys...hopefully u can help!

I swapped out the original non-roller 5.0 out of my '82 Capri (mustang) and replaced it with an '88 roller motor. I used the non-roller distributor, but bought a new steel gear. Someone threw the box away with all the installation steps and guidelines! I think I have PN 85833. I need that info and any other wisdom u guys can send my way. Thanx!!!

The PN 85833 is the correct gear for non-EFI roller cam motor. Although make sure that the distributor that you are using has the correct ID Shaft of .468". If the shaft is the correct measurement then you can use the gear. Here is the link to our website that has the instructions on how to install the MSD Gear.
