Well I have install a MSD 6a in my 85 s-15 jimmy with a 2.8L v-6. Upgraded the coil to the msd blaster stock replacement.. 8mm wires ( stock 8mm from a 84 and below 2.8L ).. Also I have a Edlebrock Manifold and a holley ( 390 i assume ) 4-barrel carberator.. the distributor is a stock vaccum advance unit... the problem i am getting is that when the msd is connected and the truck in gear the truck will stall out.. it will also do it after the motor is rev'd to about 4,000 rpms.. could it be just a voltage problem or could it be something else?
