MSD ignition for 56 Harley?

I have found two links that state that this ignition system will work on my bike.

will this gizmo really work my old Pan?

also, does it come with instructions?

The Pulse Ignition system will work on your Harley. The parts you will need are Pulse CDI, Harley coils and the Pulse Pro-Billet Distributor. We are adding the Pulse Ignition instructions to the web page so they should be there later today.
