Will be installing a MSD6A on 1990 Toyota MR2 NA. Which wiring diagram from the manual should be used? Also I am assuming I will need a Tach adapter, will I need the 8910 or the 8910-EIS?
Thanks in advance for any help.

The MSD Tach Adapter you will need is the PN 8910EIS. Most of the Toyota applications will require this type of adapter. I do not have access to our factory diagrams right now, but if you can hold off until Tuesday I will post a diagram for you with all the factory wires indicated.

P.S. Thanks for posting the diagram for the Mallory Unilite hookup for the other member.

Will this diagram also work for a first generation MR2 ? 1984-1989? It looks very similar but just want to make sure. If not can you post a diagram for the early model mr2's?

Yes, this diagram will work also. Just make sure that you know which posts on the coil are positive and negative. Other than that, everything else will be the same.

dearsir,
We are connecting the SCI 6300, tach adapter, Blaster SS coil and plug wires.
Would the wiring diagram dispplayed above be suitable for a 1992 MR2?
If not, could you post the appropriate diagram for the MR2 2.0L turbo charged Coupe 1992 model.
regards,
Anant

Yes, you can use the same diagram. Double check the color codes on the coil.
