7530 Gear Retards

Can you please explain the algorithm used by the 7530 to determine when a gear change has occurred? Does the 7530 detect a predefined RPM drop? If so, what is the RPM drop required to detect the next gear? I assume this is not configurable through Pro Data+.

I understand that that the shift sequence must be reset before any of this will occur.

There is a section in the data editor that is under shift gears, it will give you a last gear option and RPM drop.
This is how the 7530 detects a gear change. The RPM drop can be adjusted from 200 RPM to 1500 RPM. The gears can be adjusted from 2 to 6 gears.
By applying 12 volts to the dark blue wire will reset all the features, as the shift light sequence, gears, launch retard.
