rev limiter for a nissan 240sx 92?

ok, i own a 1992 nissan 240sx with the ka24de..
i am looking for an ignition upgrade that has the rev limiter function..
i am looking for a rev limiter that will dump out fuel and allow fire to leave my exhaust system. i am currently looking at the 6al.. i am not certain if i need the tach adapter or not.. but i was curious if the 6al's rev limiter could stop doing the soft touch and just cut ignition for more than just a cycle..

The MSD 6AL, PN 6420, will work on the 1992 Nissan 240SX application, and does have a built-in rev limiter. The rev limiter however, will not dump fuel out of the exhaust and cause fire to leave your exhaust. When the Soft Touch Rev Limiter is activated, the spark to the cylinders is randomly dropped in order to limit the rpm of the engine. On the next revolution, the cylinder is refired to prevent cylinder loadup.

is there a way to make the soft touch not soft touch?
also.. do i need a tach adapter or can i just run the 6al..

There is no way to change the rev limiters operation at this time. You may need the PN 8910EIS tach adapter, but I would try the unit on the vehicle first to see if everything operates correctly.
