7531 Issue With Rpm

Just had the car out this weekend and it was running very poorly (about a second off its normal pace). Engine is is perfect mechanical condition. Used the trace analysis and noticed the software was showing that engine RPM was at 9200 RPM when in fact it was around 7300 on my Ultimate II tach. When I took a closer review of the rev limiters I noticed that the engine rpm rev limit was set at 9200 Could there be a calibration issue? This box was working fine two weeks ago. No changes have been made to wiring. Any ideas?

If you can send me a PM with a telephone number so I can give you a call. This type of troubleshooting is difficult using e-mail because of the complexity and the number of functions in the 7531. Once we have narrowed down the problem, I will post the results here so they can be readily available.
