I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer, 4x4, 4.3 Vortec Engine Code "W". I've been trying to find ignition wires for it for some time, nobody seems to have any.

I finally found the MSD #32833 for the Vortec V6, but after buying them I see it says for 1998-2000. Will these work on my 1995? The connectors and lengths seem like they will fit, but I'll have a hard time returning them if I bash them trying to get them on and they don't work or fit.

Thanks

The MSD Super Conductor Wires that you will want to use are the PN 31649. These will fit 1992-1997 4.3L V6 Engines. In case you want to make sure that the wires are the correct length, I have listed the lengths and the style of boots below that are used in this set.

Cyl 1 - 36", Boots - Multi-Angle/Straight & 90 Degree Short
Cyl 2 - 33", Boots - 90 Degree Plug & 90 Degree Short
Cyl 3 - 26", Boots - 90 Degree Plug & 90 Degree Short
Cyl 4 - 26", Boots - 90 Degree Plug & 90 Degree Short
Cyl 5 - 27", Boots - 90 Degree Plug & 90 Degree Short
Cyl 6 - 27", Boots - Multi-Angle/Straight & 90 Degree Short
Coil - 12", Boots - 90 Degree Plug & 90 Degree Short

Those don't look right. With the 90 degree plug at the distributor end they won't plug on, this engine has the typical Vortec connectors.

The wires I had purchased listed for the 98-2000 series did "mostly" work, the lengths were a little different, but the only thing that didn't work was the cable to run from the coil to the distributor. I had to reuse the old one. I was thinking of upgrading the coil eventually anyways, which will probably leave me need a new wire anyhow.

Private message me your address, and I would be glad to send you a coil wire. I will need to know what length you want the coil wire and which boots you want on the end of it. Does your distributor cap have the horizontal or vertical towers that accept the plug wires? The W code calls out both types for that model year engine.
